The Application Procedure Step-by-Step:

I. Application form / E-application

Please follow the information bellow about the application procedure for the academic year 2018/2019:

  1. Fill in E-application form -> Application form to study MIFA programme at the University of Economics, Prague. Following the provided link to the application form you will access the student web system-> choose “Faculty of Finance and Accounting”select the type of study you wish to attend: Master: C-MIFA Finance and Accounting - full-time form, and follow the application steps.
  2. Fill in the MIFA-application-form2018 ->  sign it and send it with all required application documents (explained in step III bellow) to the postal address of the faculty (step IV).
  3. Next in the application process will be paying the application fee with sending your application documents, i.e. providing the documents required to support your application (see point III. of this page).

II. Application fee

  • This is an administrative fee that must be paid so that your application can be processed. Instructions for payment will be given to you in the e-application system once you have started your e-application.
  • It amounts to 50 EUR. Total amount of bank charges must be paid by applicant. The payment can be made either in EUR or in CZK.
  • The CZK equivalent of the sum in EUR indicated above will be calculated by using the exchange rate declared by the Czech National Bank for the date corresponding to the first day of the application period.
  • Detailed instructions for payment: you will be able to see them in the e-application system once you have started your e-application.
  • The application fee is not refundable.

III. Required application documents needed to be submitted with the application form

  1. Bachelor/undergraduate diploma & Diploma Supplement/Transcript of Records & if applicable: certificate of recognition of the diploma by the respective Czech recognition authority. Original documents or certified copies are accepted in English / Czech / Slovak language.

         without the recognition you cannot be registered into the programme.
  1. CV in English including your photo: Minimum requirements of the structured CV: Undergraduate study, field of study, degree, topic of defended thesis. Max. 2 pages please. We do not require any recommendation letters.
  2. National ID or passport, copy, in English / Czech / Slovak.

 IV. How and where to submit the application documents

  • Your e-Application must be completed as explained above and the paper version of the application form must be sent by post together with other application documents till 30th April, 2018. We DO NOT accept an application delivered after this date.
  • Your application documents, listed above in section III are to be sent to the address of the University

  • The postmark must be prior to the application deadline date or correspond to it. i.e. the latest postmark date acceptable in case of applications for 2018/2019 is 30th April, 2018.
  • We strongly recommend that you make and keep copies (scans can be especially useful) of all the documents.
